Man Shot Dead at Fort Meade

• Two men tried to ram the gate to enter the headquarters of the National Security Agency at Fort Meade, Maryland on Monday March 20, 2015.
• NSA police officers shot and killed one of the men while seriously wounding the other.
• Incident took place near one of the gates to the complex, a distance away from the main building.

Martin O’Malley: Presidency Should Not Be Passed Between Two Families

• Former Maryland Governor, Martin O’Malley, has been attempting to present himself as the alternative to Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Party in 2016.
• He dismissed a face-off between Hilliary Clinton and Jeb Bush during an ABC interview stating, ““the presidency of the United States is not some crown to be passed between two families.” Instead he called the presidency, “an awesome and sacred trust to be earned and exercised on behalf of the American people.”
• “I believe that there are new perspectives that are needed in order for us to resolve the problems that we face as Americans and also the problems we face as people on this planet, and I believe that new perspective and new leadership is needed,” O’Malley said.
• He also stated that the party needs a leader who is willing to take on “wealthy special interest groups.” When asked if he thought Clinton was that person O’Malley stated that he was unsure.
• Originally it was assumed that O’Malley would run for vice president because he refused to criticize Clinton but now it seems as if he is trying to prove that he is also an option for the White House.
• O’Malley was one of the first governors to endorse Clinton when she sought the Democratic nomination in 2008.

The Philosophical Question ‘Why’

That, of course, is something that each and every individual must answer for themselves. I will not give you the answer to ‘why’ but I will give you the information on which you can make a grounded conclusion for yourself.
